Ava loves a good book and if it's a touch and feel, she's happy as can be! Every night while I'm warming up a bottle for Ava before she goes off to bed, someone reads to her on the couch. Most nights my Dad is more than happy to sit with Ava and see what she feels like reading. Some nights it's all about her Dolly book while other nights she might be more into her farm collection. She's the boss (for now) so she decides!
Today, however, she turned the table and decided that she wanted to read to US! Aunt Colleen and cousin AJ were the lucky recipients of her very first read aloud. She did a wonderful job!
(Doesn't AJ's expression just say, "Ummm, do you have any books about bugs or baseball? I could really care less about the dolly...)

That is so cute!! You're raising another teacher, you know that right??? Cameron has yet to show the enthusiasm for books like Ava, he's more interesting in just wailing on them with his hands. :-) Hopefully he'll enjoy them just as much as Ava!
