- She's here!!! Ava Elizabeth Dougherty graced us with her presence on October 7th, 2008 and our world has been turned upside down ever since, in a wonderful way of course. We are going on 4 years in England and are slowly approaching our departure back to the States. We are blessed with the best family and friends around and are so thankful for all that we have been given so far.

Yep, that day was a coming. The famous word "no". You will hear lots of "no's" before you hear the word "yes". I was so thrilled when Emily started saying "yes" to questions. I am so glad that Ava is feeling better.
